My Cosmic Floral Compositions combine floral arrangements with a cosmic realm allowing them to defy and complement reality. I take a surreal approach in defining my flowers. All my life, I have had a fondness for nature for its beauty, mystery, and relaxing elements. I seek to recreate flowers that sprout in my dreams and redesign them into symbols and motifs. I exempt all gravity allowing these compositions to float in space. I combine rosemaling, scrolling, and images found in Rococo and Art Nouveau into my own style. I visualize energy bringing a liveliness to the nature, provoke movement, and allow the viewer's eyes to dance throughout the painting.
